Human Review Checklist for AI-Generated Content

A practical editorial checklist for factual support, usefulness, originality, brand fit, accessibility, and publication readiness.

DruidX Editorial6 min read

Key takeaways

  • Check the argument before polishing sentences.
  • Verify every unstable or consequential claim.
  • Remove generic padding and invented proof.
  • Confirm the links, metadata, and next action.

Review usefulness and structure

Ask whether the piece solves the reader's stated problem and whether the most important answer arrives early. Check that headings form a coherent outline, examples make the advice concrete, and the conclusion gives the reader a useful next step.

Delete sections that repeat the premise without adding evidence, method, or a decision.

Review facts and sources

Verify dates, prices, product capabilities, laws, benchmarks, and named external facts against current primary sources. Confirm that each citation supports the exact nearby claim.

Remove invented statistics, unattributed customer stories, and vague statements such as “industry-leading” when no acceptable evidence exists.

Review voice and originality

Replace generic transitions and abstract advice with the language your readers use and the practical constraints they face. Add first-party examples, screenshots, templates, or tested workflows where possible.

Make product connections only after the article has delivered independent value.

Review publication quality

Check the title, description, canonical URL, author, dates, internal links, image alt text, mobile layout, and calls to action. Confirm that the page is indexable and included in the sitemap after release.

Record who reviewed the piece and what materially changed during review.

How DruidX supports the workflow

Put the method into a business-aware workspace.
